Another week has come and gone and Adam Forshaw is still out injured. At this point, nobody should be surprised by that fact as the midfielder has been out of action for months at this point.
There simply hasn’t been any significant official update on his progress, and other than an online report about him stepping up his training earlier this week we’ve not heard anything about his recovery.
Leeds fans are becoming quite concerned about Forshaw at this point as hardly anybody anticipated that he’d be out for this long.
A number of supporters took to Twitter to share their concerns after Bielsa gave his weekly update confirming that Forshaw isn’t back yet.
One reason why Forshaw’s injury is so worrying is the fact that everyone is seemingly being kept in the dark about it.
We know that it’s a hip injury, but we don’t know where he is up to in terms of his recovery or how severe the issue is.
There has been very little communication about what is actually wrong with Forshaw, and fans are seemingly getting frustrated by that.
For some, that frustration has boiled over to the point that they don’t even want Forshaw at the club anymore.
There were shouts from some sections of the fanbase to get rid of the midfielder due to the fact that he’s been nothing but a drain on Leeds’ wage bill this season due to the amount of time he has spent sidelined.
Meanwhile, Leeds fans have been fuming about one tweet from Graham Smyth.
