Manchester City are thought to be lining up a £90m bid for Aston Villa star Jack Grealish, according to Football Insider.
And, as to be expected, a number of Villa supporters have been reacting to the news on social media.
Football Insider claim that City are willing to pay a British record fee for Grealish’s services and the end of the European Championships has signalled the beginning of some potential big transfers taking place.
City have already spent months putting in the groundwork over a swoop for the attacking midfielder, who was thought to be keen on a move to the Etihad.
Grealish reportedly wants to play Champions League football on a regular basis, however, a deal is not yet close to being finalised, despite rumours last month suggesting otherwise.
Villa fans react
Football Insider shared their story on Twitter on Monday afternoon. This is what these Villa fans had to say in reply, with one describing it as ‘ridiculous’.
